Dog Monitor App Reviews

This is an awesome app. The only challenge is when our internet connection at home drops, the app cannot reconnect unless you go home to press the button to reconnect. Unfortunately our internet isnt the best, so it disconnects daily and once that happens we cant see our dog for the rest of the day. If there was any way to allow your phone to click a reconnect button to get your iPad to reconnect when that happens, that would be very helpful.

The app is great, I leave my laptop at my apartment connected to the WiFi and take my phone with me to work. I can monitor all activity in my apartment and when my dog gets noisy it alerts me and I go to camera to see the video of him. The sensitivity of the microphone can be changed since it alerts me even when cars honk. Also bring the phone charger with you because the app will drain the battery. Besides the battery situation I highly recommend it. Also I have a Mac and an iPhone, not sure if it worked so well because of both devices being compatible.

After installing, and setting it up the app only worked for 2 hours. I tested it while out shopping, and it worked fine. However, before I even got home the app stated it wasnt able to find my "dog station" due to my computer being in sleep mode. I made sure before I left the house that the sleep mode, or any other mode, was off. So, it must be the app not delivering on its end as advertised. My advice is for the developer to fix the issues. Deliver on what you advertised. Until then, dont wast your money on this app.

My little silky has severe separation anxiety. He isnt neutered so he likes to mark up my walls and I have to keep him in very very big open top kennel. After a while he would get bored and rip up his wee wee pad and push the kennel all around the house. I was afraid he would hurt himself. I invested in the thunder best which did not help like I though it would. BUT this product saved the day! I was able to keep an eye on him while I was at work and able to speak to him when ever he would have an episode. He slept majority of the day! Which is such a nice change compared to what were used to. The best money I have ever spent!!!!

I love being able to check on my pups throughout the day. App is very easy to set up and use.

I have been using this ap for almost six months and I have to say it gives me such piece of mind to be able to monitor my puppy while I am away! It is easy to use and dependable, as long as my Internet service is working. Only twice it wasnt so I couldnt connect to my IPad. I highly recommend this ap to all pet owners!!!

This so much fun. Am able to check in on the pack while away. Also can correct them if being overly noisy!

Great monitor for my dog - auto update disconnected and Ive tried everything to reconnect - to no avail! Ugh!

This is a great app to watch our little dog. Its great to just check in on her to watch her sleeping throughout the day! Definitely gives us peace of mind!

This app is perfect when I want to check up and monitor my doggies whenever Im not home. Its an awesome app! Its gives me a peace of mind knowing I can check up on them whenever I want. I wish theres an option where you can zoom in. Otherwise, highly recommended app!

Not always the most reliable. But when it works its great!

The app is zoomed in for some reason and There is no option to zoom out. Any one else with this problem? I loved the app until this glitch

This is a great app! I was looking into buying an actual dog camera but they were expensive. When I came across this app for less than $5, I figured Id give it a try. It works great and I am able to see/hear my dog and talk to her! I use it with my iPad at home as the dog station and my iPhone with me as the person station. I tried to use my Mac as the dog station but it keep crashing (havent tried it again with the new update though). Didnt bother me too much since I had my iPad handy.. Easy to "set up" and to use!

Works great. Its exactly what I was looking for. I guess it would be nice if it did video in both directions (right now you can only see the video feed of your pet, but your pet cannot see you) With that said, what it does currently: video monitoring, audio both ways, etc., definitely works pretty well. The push notifications when the pet is noise: Im not sure if that works because I havent received a single one. Im assuming that should work even when the "persons" app is not running, but again, havent received any notifications so far.

Love this app. Works pretty great. My only complaint is that its too zoomed in. Only captured small area in the video

This app has been super helpful and reassuring since we have a new puppy! It allows me to see how she is doing and talk to her when she starts to cry. The only problem with the old version has been the sound going out often. Hopefully this will be fixed with the newer version! So glad a friend recommended this app to me!! And the cost is spot on!!

For the price - I am just stunned. This app is a blessing for me. I am working on my dogs separation anxiety and her howling when I am away. Using this to train her so far is perfect. I step away, have her in her and crate and watch her from afar so see if she howls. Thank you for creating this adorable app.

As a fireman, often overnight at work, this app saves me worry and lets me check in on my lonely puppy. Even with poor connections, I listen in, stop his barking (and neighbour complaints) and even play games where he finds me pre-hidden toys and treats along the way. I use an old iPad and laptop for different angles, with the laptop speaker near the ipad, making him think Im there when I call him. My ipad has a good enough signal for video, and my iphone is perfect for audio and still photos every few seconds (my work is far from town and mobile signals are always a problem). Our shared separation anxiety is almost gone. This is a great app! I like that I can check in as I please without always being connected. If you are looking for a way to keep tabs, and have a device or laptop you can leave, this is the app for you. Be aware that you have to buy the app again for OSX on a laptop, but well worth it! Now they just need to update it to throw toys and give treats! Update: I still love the app, but am extremely cross that I have to constantly re-pair y devises with each update. I updated automatically and now cannot check on my dog until morning! Also, on my pc, I cant scroll through my dog stations until Ive first clicked on the first one to show.

Simple app that does what it says. Alerts you to noise, and gives you occasional updates if youre not monitoring directly. Good quality streaming and quick reconnect, easy functionality. Id recommend they add the ability to turn current alerts off for a few minutes at a time just for the sake of convenience.

I have recently moved into a new apartment and my dog was having trouble transitioning to the new space so I decided to try this app. While great in theory, the actual usage was far from impressive. Connection was frequently lost between Person station and Dog station, which means I spent a lot of time reconnecting. And video is only helpful if your dog stays exactly in front of the screen - I have an iPad and MAC pc dog stations in two separate rooms. However, I will say, that when the connection did finally stay on and I could hear my dog crying and barking, it was helpful to know for how long he had been quiet. I will try using the app because I don’t want to invest in a dog cam, but if the connections continue to fail, then I will have to try something else. Also, I bought it on iPad, but app didn’t open on PC so I had to buy it separately on PC, which was $1 more.
